Reflection
As a special education teacher, it is important to stay well aware of the current research-based instructional and behavioral strategies in order to effectively teach any and all students. All students are different and learn in many different ways. As teachers we must be prepared to teach all children regardless of their learning styles or abilities. As a teacher, I must know how to effectively research and find research validated instructional and behavioral practices. Above, are evidences of me researching QAR reading strategies, and also reflecting on how to conduct reading research to find effective practices. Teachers are not only teaching others, we are also learner's, and we must continue to learn more effective practices in order to stay current with the teaching methods.
