Reflection As a Special Education teacher, it is important to use effective assessments in order provide appropriate instruction. One assessment method does not fit all students. Students with special needs may have modifications and/or accommodations for any and all assessments. Teachers must be aware of those accommodations and modifications in order to insure that the student is successful on the assessment. Assessments should be used to drive instruction and to also monitor students progress in specified academic areas. |
